Yes, both are available online and free!
As we have mentioned, branding is very important. A key part of your online presence is your logo. Why pay for someone to create a logo for you? Why not make your own online for free? There are many resources available depending on what you are looking for in your logo.
We use several free online image editing and logo creating sites.
- Online Image Editor
- Cool Text
- Free Logo Maker (little more complex)
Remember your site is yours, your logo and design ideas are yours. Try the above out, see what you come up with, save several options before deciding on a final design.
Most “standard” banners including logos are 468 x 60 pixels; though most current CMS use various sizes, usually depending on your theme and options available there.
Next, as you see here, we often use featured images. The advantages to this are twofold, one is they attract your site visitors attention, second is you can create “alt” text usually within your CMS.
Where do we (and you) find these images? Often a good place to start is search for free online images. Make sure they are not watermarked, or copywriten. There are many online and free options or use one of the above image manipulators or logo creators and make your own original images. Up to you, this is for YOUR website, if you are creative go with your own originals, if not, find free online images.
And do not forget:
